Support the instructional design team by updating self-paced, online modules using Articulate Storyline 360 (SL360) in a fast-paced development environment. Primary duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Track tasks in Microsoft SharePoint
Use SL360 to open existing projects
Use SL360 to import translation files
Use SL360 to reformat on-screen text as needed
Use SL360, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro to generate accessible versions of text content from each module
Follow all project guidelines and specifications for procedures, accessibility, Articulate Storyline 360, media use, instructional design, and visual design
Use SL360, Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, etc., to edit images, audio, and video as needed
Conduct quality control evaluations of all products before sending review requests
Use SL360: Publish to Articulate Review
Collaborate with the ID Team Lead, subject matter experts (SMEs), reviewers, translators, and colleagues to request and clarify review feedback
Use SL360 to make all requested revisions
Use SL360 to publish for the web
Regularly communicate with and seek help from the ID Team Lead
Share ideas for improving processes or products
Other duties as assigned
A high school diploma/equivalency and must be a current college student or recent college graduate.
E-Learning design and development experience
Strong English communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Current college students or recent graduates in instructional systems and learning technologies (ISLT) are preferred
Proficiency with eLearning authoring software preferred (especially Articulate Storyline 2 or Articulate 360)
Strong visual/graphic design skills
Strong instructional design skills
Excellent quality assurance and quality control in personal work products
Ability to collaborate effectively on project teams, especially with subject matter experts
Ability to juggle multiple development tasks at the same time
Excellent organization and time management skills
Proficiency with office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
Proficiency with audio editing software preferred (e.g. Audacity)
Proficiency with video/image capture software preferred (e.g. Camtasia, Snagit)
Proficiency communicating via web-based systems and basic software applications
E-Learning design and development experience
Current college students or recent graduates in instructional systems and learning technologies (ISLT).
Proficiency with graphics applications including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, or their equivalent.
Ability to work between 15-20 hours per week on a regular schedule. The FCR-STEM instructional design team is located at the FSU Research Foundation in Innovation Park, which features free parking and an FSU bus stop right outside.

Anticipated Salary Range

This is a soft money funded position, with renewal based on available funds and the needs of the University.
