Advertised Job Summary: The Assistant Director for CRM Administration will report to the Associate Director for Strategic Technology Initiatives and is responsible for the management of the Admissions Office's constituent relationship management system (CRM), Technolutions Slate. S/he is responsible for understanding functional user roles and identifying solutions to meet business needs. S/he will make data-informed recommendations and leverage Slate's functionality to support USC's undergraduate enrollment goals. This position oversees daily operations of the CRM, including, but not limited to managing data integrity and importing/exporting of data between Slate and USC's student information system (Ellucian Banner), as well as other third-party data sources. Core activities include configuring the application(s) for admission; managing cycle prep for future application terms; writing queries and reports to present data in reader-friendly formats; building and integrating data feeds from third-party vendors (e.g., Coalition application, SAT, ACT, Parchment); assisting with creation of data and image bridges between CRM and Banner; ensuring accuracy of student records; writing and monitoring error reports and providing direction on fixes; identifying and resolving duplicate records; correcting addresses; preparing documentation and training aids related to CRM; creating/deploying communications based on population rules; configuring event modules; onboarding new users; and assisting with other Banner-related initiatives that impact the CRM. This position also collaborates with campus constituents and manages their access to Slate as needed. Position may require some evening and weekend work.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems or related field and 1 year related experience; or equivalency.
