The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) and Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking candidates for the position of Director of the Division of Head and Neck Surgery. The Division of Head and Neck Surgery at BMC/BUSM is one of the busiest head and neck services in New England with approximately 300 cases and 50 microvascular free flap reconstructions performed annually.

Required Skills

Qualified candidates will be board certified otolaryngologists with fellowship training in advanced head and neck surgical oncology. Candidates should preferably have at least five years of clinical experience and have been involved in developing a Head and Neck service.  The director will be responsible for growing the division and overseeing the daily operations of the head and neck service. In addition to being an outstanding clinician, candidates should have demonstrated administrative and academic accomplishments in their field, as well as a record of successful research investigation and mentorship. Teaching of residents and medical students is required. Academic rank will be commensurate with the credentials of the candidate.
