College of Music
Teach undergraduate and graduate jazz saxophone lessons.
Teach classes across the jazz curriculum, including improvisation, large and small jazz ensembles, and jazz ensemble techniques.
Recruit and maintain a studio of outstanding students.
Other responsibilities include master’s committees, student advising, and service to the area, college, and university appropriate to rank.
Baccalaureate degree required.
Significant professional performance experience and proven artistry as a performer.
Strong commitment to teaching and recruitment of outstanding students.
A Masters degree is preferred.
