MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 	
Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration or a related field (e.g., Public Policy, Curriculum and Instruction, etc.).
Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1, 2018.
An excellent record of teaching or demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the college level appropriate to the teaching assignment.
A strong record or potential to develop a strong record of scholarly productivity in educational administration and leadership.
Practical experience as an educator in PK-12 schools and/or districts.
Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.


DESIRED/PREFERRED	
QUALIFICATIONS:
Content specialization in one or more of the following areas: instructional leadership, curriculum development, fiscal and human resources, organizational leadership in urban schools, supervision and evaluation, and education law.
Demonstrated experience in educational leadership positions at the Assistant Principalship level or higher.
Demonstrated experience in dissertation and thesis advising.
Active involvement in professional associations.
Demonstrated experience with leading academic programs.
Holds the California Clear or Tier II Administrative Credential.
