Assistant Professor Positions in Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science at Smith College invites applications for one, possibly more tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in computer science, to begin July 2018. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and the capacity to develop and maintain an active research program. Field of specialty is open. Candidates with a demonstrated ability to work with and inspire diverse student populations are especially encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. in computer science or computer engineering is expected by time of appointment.
Tenured and tenure-track track faculty members teach two courses each semester and enjoy a generous sabbatical policy. The department is housed in a recently constructed, LEED® certified, 400,000 square foot science and engineering building with state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities.
