Peer Tutor for Statistics (MT207) w/ Dr. Satake

The Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) is looking for someone to tutor Statistics (MT207) through our Peer Tutoring Program. Peer tutors are “study buddies” or coaches, not experts. To be eligible, you must have completed this course at Emerson with a B+ or better (A-/A preferred).
Peer tutors help students, usually one-on-one, with test preparation, reading comprehension, projects, study approaches, technology, written assignments, etc. Tutors may work with one student or several, depending upon the number of requests for support as the semester progresses.
Sessions take place anywhere appropriate on campus (usually the library or lab) and at the convenience of both parties.
There are no set hours; rather, tutoring hours are arranged via e-mail between students and tutors based on schedules and needs.
