Peer Tutor for Math in Media, Music, & Art (MT105) w/ Prof. Fausak

Description:
Tutor 1 student (perhaps more) through the Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC).
Who?
We are looking for someone to tutor students in specific courses through our Peer Tutoring Program. Peer tutors are “study buddies” or coaches, not experts. To be eligible, you must have completed this course at Emerson with a B+ or better.
What?
Peer tutors help students, usually one-on-one, with test preparation, reading comprehension, projects, study approaches, technology, written assignments, etc. Tutors may work with one student or several, depending upon the number of requests for support as the semester progresses.
Where?
Sessions take place anywhere appropriate on campus (usually the library or lab) and at the convenience of both parties.
When?
There are no set hours; rather, tutoring hours are arranged via e-mail between students and tutors based on schedules and needs.

    Candidates must have taken this course in a previous semester at Emerson or be doing well in it currently. Personal maturity, patience, a desire to help others, and a good academic record also required.
