Admission Information Systems Specialist

Job Summary: The Admission Information Systems Specialist manages the Office of Admission's CRM ,Technoloutions Slate. This positions requires a solid understanding and the ability to maintain, manage and report on all aspects of the CRM. This also requires the ability to train staff members on the system This Specialist serves as its data manager and data steward; coordinates the execution of its communication flow; and acts as the department's technology liaison to the Office of Marketing, as well as other internal constituencies and external third-party vendors and consultants. The position is a functional technician who implements, maintains, and oversees CRM's various components, including forward-facing applications, events, queries/data requests, workflows, data integrity and imports, territories, and Banner integration. It provides overall technical training to internal users, as well as supports external users' help tickets. Utilizing the CRM, the Systems Specialist executes the Office's technology-based communication plan. In this capacity, Systems Specialist implements the materials' execution triggers and infrastructure in CRM, creates distribution lists, and helps develop campaign calendars. Additionally, the position works with internal partners in Information Technology and Marketing, and serves on appropriate University committees, as assigned. The Systems Specialist works with outside enrollment partners to ensure internal communication efforts are supplemented or coordinated. Overall, this position serves as the primary support for CRM tool and systems technology needs serving end users in Admissions, Enrollment Management and related functional users across the university.

Working Hours:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: An earned Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Two years of progressive technology experience. At least 1 year direct experience with a higher education CRM application or related system. Demonstrated experience with a major ERP Financial Aid system (Banner, Datatel, PeopleSoft, etc.) Demonstrated business process improvement experience. Ability to design, develop and facilitate all reporting functions. Ability to develop and maintain strong communication and collaboration with other RU systems specialists and data stewards. Ability to make effective presentations online and in small and large group meetings. Demonstrated ability to identify, learn and creatively use additional applications that enhance service to employees. Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. A positive and professional demeanor is a must.

Preferred Qualifications: Earned Master's Degree. Knowledge of reporting tools such as Argos, Cognos, Crystal Reports, etc. Slate, CRM experience
