Job Description

The Department of Biology at Montclair State University invites applications for a tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position in GENETICS, particularly in the field of cytogenetics to start Fall 2018. Position responsibilities include teaching Genetics and related courses and establishing a vigorous, extramurally funded research program involving undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to support departmental programs such as the master's program in Molecular Biology.



Qualifications & Requirements

A Ph.D. in Biology or a relevant field is required. A willingness to provide service to the department, university and larger professional community is expected. Salary is dependent upon qualifications. Screening will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
