MANAGER OF PRACTICUM, School of Public Health, Education (9014/H2817)
The Practicum Program Manager will increase and diversify practicum opportunities that enhance the student learning experience and advance their marketability for permanent post-graduate positions.
This position will identify, cultivate and maintain strong ties with practicum host organizations and supervisors in order to increase and diversify practicum opportunities that align with degree programs and specialized curriculum.
This will include 'cold' phone and email communications, in-person visits and attendance at professional events.
This position will also be responsible for advising students in all phases of their practicum searches in conjunction with Career Advisors.
Proactively identify potential practicum host targets and networks to aid in securing a practicum.
Help students to develop strategies to leverage their practicums into potential job opportunities.
5-8 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
