Faculty Position and Program Director Clinical Operations & Leadership and Healthcare MBA Programs
The Department of Clinical Research and Leadership at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences invites applications for a faculty member to serve as program director for the Clinical Operations & Leadership program and liaison for the Healthcare MBA. This full-time (12 month), non-tenure track faculty position will be filled at a rank (assistant/associate/full professor) and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our program is located in the heart of Washington, DC and provides a dynamic academic environment that fosters collaborative educational and research initiatives and interprofessional approaches to training health care professionals.
Responsibilities include developing and teaching online and blended graduate courses in clinical management, leadership, and healthcare operations; providing academic oversight of undergraduate and graduate program in clinical operations and leadership as well as the Healthcare MBA program; marketing and research; engaging in scholarly activities; assessing student learning outcomes; advising and mentoring students; and providing service at the university, community and professional level.
Basic Requirements: Terminal Degree (such as PhD, EdD, DSci, MD) in healthcare or related field at time of appointment; experience in the area of management and leadership; and active scholarship in your area of expertise.
