Job Description

A. GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Manager of Financial Reporting will be responsible for preparation and the production of quarterly and annual financial statement filings with lenders; prepare, analyze and review quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and management discussion and analysis; perform technical accounting research as required and liaise with division controllers on accounting and financial reporting issues; responsible for periodic filing of government statistical reports; prepare and review ad hoc requests for Senior Management.

B. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

•Responsible for supervising one senior reporting analyst

•Support various special projects (acquisition, divestitures, equity and debt offerings, perform annual review and impairment testing of goodwill and intangible assets)

•Responsible for maintaining the Internal Control over Financial Reporting matrix for Corporate Reporting, ensure that the controls are in place and adhered to

•Prepare and review financial analysis using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and HFM-retrieve applications

C. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skill And Experience Requirements)

•Advanced knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements and financial statement analysis required

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office required

•Ability to effectively manage, plan and prioritize multiple projects in order to meet tight deadlines

•Produce high quality, accurate work

•Strong analytical and technical skills

•Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of corporate and divisional management required

•Second language, particularly Spanish, preferred

•Strong attention to detail, ability to resolve problems and work well both independently and in a team environment

•Develop and mentor direct report

•Strong planning, organizing, scheduling skills and experience

E. INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONS

•Significant interaction with Dole's operating divisions worldwide, corporate office departments (accounting, legal, tax and treasury) and external auditors

F. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

•BS/BA in Accounting or Business is required

•CPA is required

•5+ years of combined public accounting and private industry experience

•2+ years of SEC reporting experience required

•2+ years of experience using HFM and web-based financial reporting applications preferred.

G. EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT

•One senior reporting analyst
