Job Description:

The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) at the University of Florida invites applications for a clinical faculty position (official UF title: Clinical Assistant Professor). This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month, non-tenure track, benefitted clinical faculty position. The position will involve classroom teaching of students in our Undergraduate Communication Sciences and Disorders program.  Expected start date will be Fall 2018. Applicants must hold a PhD.

SLHS is housed within the College of Public Health and Health Professions and is well integrated within the Health Science Center, providing a wealth of opportunities for scholarly collaborations. We are a large department with more than 40 academic and clinical faculty members addressing a multi-faceted mission that encompasses education, clinical service, and research. Our degree programs for speech-language pathology (MA-CSD) and audiology (AuD) just obtained reaccreditation for another eight years. The Health Science Center is one of the largest in the nation, with six separate colleges.
