The Department of Clinical Research and Leadership at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences invites applications for a military-based program in Health and Disaster Leadership faculty position. This full-time (12 month), non-tenure track faculty position will be filled at the rank of assistant/associate/full professor. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our program is located in the heart of Washington, DC and provides a dynamic academic environment that fosters collaborative educational and research initiatives and interprofessional approaches to training health care professionals.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include developing and teaching online and blended graduate courses in health and disaster response leadership; providing academic oversight of the programs; engaging in scholarly activities; assessing student learning outcomes; advising and mentoring students; and providing service at the university, community and professional level.

Minimum Qualifications:

Terminal Degree (such as PhD, EdD, DSci, MD) in healthcare management or related field at time of appointment and evidence of active scholarship in your area of expertise.
