** This position is open only to internal candidates in the Counseling & Testing Department.The Counseling & Testing Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Assistant Director III to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Oversee Training Program in the Counseling & Testing.* Serve as liaison for Psychology, Counselor Education, Rehabilitation studies and Social Work departments at UNT.* Provide personal and career counseling to a diverse student population.* Supervise and train Practicum students.* Participate in rotation of administrative backup emergency phone coverage on evenings and weekends.* Present workshops in areas of expertise and make presentations to specific groups.* Participation in backup coverage of daytime walk-in crisis hours.* Consult with faculty, staff, and concerned others.* Supervise designated staff members.* Serve as administrator in charge when director and other Associate Directors are out of the office.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and five years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
