This position has management responsibility for all applications, implementations, interfaces, training, and support utilized within the organization.
Scope of Practice:
Have exceptional project management skills.
Align systems to meet regulatory requirements.
Control and manage changes to system (Regulatory requirement).
Control and manage access to systems (Regulatory requirement).
Have testing procedures in place that include IT and departmental testing (Regulatory requirement).
Ensure interfaces work as directed by the system vendor, and data is applied into their respective fields, using appropriate standards (Regulatory requirement).
Conducts gap analysis and acts as an internal consultant to facilitate transformation.
Have exceptional communication skills.
Work independently to achieve goals.
Education: College degree in IT, Health Informatics, Business, or Health Care Administration.
1. Minimum of 5- 9 year's experience with exceptional project management experience, HIPPA compliance, health information exchange, and interoperability, EMR software, leading teams, and people.
2. 5+ years managing and implementing software applications.
3. Prior experience in a nursing home desired
4. Enunciated Communication: Able to read, speak, and write English proficiently.
5. Excellent written and oral skills are required.
