General Summary:

Review and process complex course data transactions to the University's data systems, including student data system, course catalog, degree evaluation and imaging systems. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with maintenance of accurate course catalog files, including student database and paper files.

Respond to inquiries from faculty, staff and students regarding student data system, course catalog, degree evaluation and imaging systems.

Organize and manage incoming degree requirement changes in student database degree evaluation system at both university and student level.

Input degree requirement changes (i.e., student substitutions and waivers), as necessary, in student database degree evaluation system.

Provide superior customer service to campus departments and staff.

Function effectively in a team based work environment.

Adhere to any and all NCAA, Mid-American Conference and Eastern Michigan University policies, rules, regulations, and operational procedures.

Perform other related duties as required.

Supplemental Information: Please Note: This posting is for two (2) vacancies. Qualifications:
Knowledge and skills in planning, organization, analysis, problem solving, data collection, and administrative support procedures typically acquired through the completion of an Associate's Degree in Business, Office Technology or a related field is necessary.

Bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable.

Minimum two years of experience in a university Office of Records/Registration (e.g., Office of the Registrar) or university Graduation Audit environment is necessary.

Knowledge and skills in word processing and spreadsheet functions including the use of reporting applications and database systems is necessary.

Proficiency in using an enterprise student information system, such as Banner is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as well as strong organizational skills, exceptional multi-tasking skills and demonstrated attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of an organizational team is necessary.
