Advertised Job Summary: The applied research project that this position will be involved with is focused on partnering with local soul food restaurants to deliver a dietary intervention aimed at reducing cardiovascular disease risk and promoting weight loss among African American adults. Two diets will be examined in the study: 1) traditional low-fat soul food diet and 2) plant-based (vegan) soul food diet.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Master's degree in related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor's degree in related field and 3 years related experience. Experience with health behavior, physical activity, or nutrition research is required.
