Work closely with Director and staff of The University of Vermont's Wellness Environment to oversee the day-to-day research operations of the Conrad Hilton grant, which includes one distinct project. Serve as the main point of contact for all Institutional Review Board (IRB) related submissions and correspondence. Prepare and submit applications to external agencies (NIH/NIDA & FDA) to ensure regulatory compliance. Responsible for overseeing monitoring, auditing and quality control of all study sites to include database development, reviewing data for quality assurance, preparing site and treatment group reports for Conrad Hilton, and general project management. Coordinate and contribute to publications. Provide direct supervision to project coordinators. Train and monitor off-site, contracted data collectors to assure adherence to protocol and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and provide direction to subcontractors that establish various study databases and data collection systems.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three to five years' project management and/or clinical research experience which may include a Master's degree required. Effective communication skills and computer proficiency required.
Experience running human subject research studies desirable.
6 month probationary period is required
