Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science (EOAS)


We seek applications for a postdoctoral position at the department of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science at Florida State University. The position may include collaborative research into centimeter scale, kilometer scale, or global scale (eco) morphodynamics. The successful candidate will join an active group working on coastal morphodynamics and its applications for paleoenvironmental reconstructions, coastal change prediction, and coastal hazard prevention.


A Ph.D. degree is required at the time of appointment.


Successful candidates will have a strong publication record in the fields of geomorphology or hydrology. Experience with programming (Matlab, Python, and/or Javascript in Earth Engine) and/or morphodynamic models such as Delft3D is preferred.
