University of North Texas - Assistant Director I - Student Employment/Human Resources Liaison
The Career Center at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Assistant Director I to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Manage all activity related to UNT Student Employment on behalf of the Career Center for the entire campus. * Act as HR liaison for student employment full cycle hiring process including background checks and onboarding.* Develop and manage on-campus internships (Eagle Internships) program for administrative and academic units at UNT. * Interface with and provide customer service and HR-type training for student employment supervisors across campus. * Develop and facilitate orientation training's for all student employees. * Supervises Student Services Specialist III (Student Employment Coordinator) and any Graduate student(s) and student assistants. * Develops ongoing relationships with campus supervisors, Human Resources, Financial Aid, Toulouse Graduate School, and all other parties involved in Hourly Student Employment. * Ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and UNT policies. * Conducts regular audits of UNT departments on Student Employment Policy compliance. * Works closely with Student Services Specialist III to increase training offerings on campus for student employees and students who seek on-campus employment. * Assists the Associate Director and Director in the area of data collection for UNT Student Employment and on-campus internships.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and three years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
