Enrollment Business Analyst

The Enrollment Business Analyst will be responsible for providing technical and operational guidance and analytical insight to the enrollment division. This individual will be in charge of enrollment reporting and analysis. Additionally, this position would lead efforts for data-informed decisions and would be in charge of the CRM management and coordinating technology needs for areas that promote recruitment and enrollment strategies. The Enrollment Business Analyst will initiate and manage projects around the analysis of internal and external data, providing engagement strategies for prospect cultivation. She/He will implement and evaluate business processes that enable the division of Enrollment Management to achieve its enrollment goals.



Specific duties will include: Manage the CRM system and any related vendor relationships as delegated by the Enrollment Director; Manage report writing and analysis functions and utilize multiple databases and business intelligence tools to accurately report data, including designing reports, publishing reports, and validating reports; Work on data integrity improvements and report automation; Perform exploratory, confirmatory and predictive analyses (including but not limited to data mining and modeling) to identify ways to improve strategies in order to develop more efficient processes and increase effectiveness; Assist the Directors and VP with data collection and reports for the analysis of enrollment trends and patterns; Perform and or work with others to perform ad hoc data requests; Work closely with IT, BI and other key departments to identify key business requirements for technological enhancements or any analytical systems/databases needs and issues; As it relates to the institutions’ strategic plan, identify departmental issues and opportunities and design effective solutions to secure necessary support for initiatives; Suggest and implement enhancements to systematize data flow across departments to strategically enhance enrollment management and recruitment functions.



Bachelor degree required, Master degree a plus. Degrees in relevant quantitative subjects preferred. Self-driven individual requiring little to no supervision. Strong quantitative skills. Math savvy with the ability to synthesize and analyze data, recognize patterns and provide insightful conclusions for decision making. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to provide quality training to system users. Ability to elicit and transform user feedback into operational efficiencies. Expert MS Office Suite user, especially MS Excel. Ability to quickly learn enterprise systems (CRM, SIS, Tableau). Prior work experience in an educational institution and knowledge of or administration of Salesforce.com, Banner SIS, and Tableau is a plus.
