Position Category: Staff - Full-Time
Under the direction of the School Community University Partnership Director, performs and/or oversees a variety of administrative duties, including fiscal, accounting, staff support, and planning activities, some of which require advanced or specialized knowledge and skills; oversees budget administration, facilities, inventory management, specialized record keeping, database management, and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks; coordinates and facilitates meetings, program functions, and/or special events, as appropriate; trains and oversees lower graded staff and/or student employees. Other duties as assigned.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and/or experience totaling four years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of accounting principles/bookkeeping.
Knowledge of best standards practice relating to position and assigned tasks.
Knowledge of computer software applications including, MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Publisher, Word and Outlook.
Excellent organizational skills including ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, maintain composure, and resolve sensitive issues in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
Skills in accounting/bookkeeping, office methods, techniques, practices and procedures.
Excellent writing, editing and grammar skills.
Skills in the preparation and interpretation of reports, charts, graphs, and tables.
Strong interpersonal, public relations, problem-solving, and decision making skills.
Ability to productively manage time, work independently and complete tasks with little or no supervision, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to coordinate and assist in the preparation and monitoring of project financial transactions.
Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing.
Ability to meet and work with people of diverse backgrounds.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
Ability to critically edit/proofread and create departmental communications.
Ability to prioritize and follow projects through to successful completion.
Ability to record and transcribe meeting minutes and maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
Steward departmental fiduciary records with the highest level of integrity.
Moderate to fluent Spanish speaking skills
General office environment.
Able to carry 10-20 pounds.

Pay Range: $25,665 - $32,082
