JOB SUMMARY:


The Clinical Lab Coordinator, a licensed SC Registered Nurse, coordinates the Clinical Learning Center (CLC) which is a state-of-the-art facility in which student and faculty engage in the teaching-learning process and conduct research in a simulated healthcare environment. Performs other related duties as assigned.


JOB DUTIES:


30% - Essential - Lab Coordination:
Coordinates day-to-day activities in the CLC including the coordination, supervision, and implementation of the setup, break down and returning to storage all equipment/supplies used for each lab activity. Offers guidance and recommendations for hiring and termination but not responsible for making these decisions.

20% - Essential - Monitor Human Patient Simulators:
Monitors and maintains the use of the Human Patient Simulators and all related equipment.

20% - Essential - Track and Evaluates:
Tracks and evaluates use of and satisfaction with clinical learning experiences in the lab.

15% - Essential - Faculty Support:
Assists faculty with simulation activity by operation of Human Patient Simulator, audiovisual equipment, video streaming/recording, and use of other technology as needed. Collaborates with other faculty/staff for orientation and continuing support to lab faculty

15% - Essential - Lab Inventory:
Manages and maintains adequate inventory for all lab equipment and supplies. Provides information for the budget preparation and allocates funds for maintaining inventory for lab equipment and supplies.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Budget Input - Provides input into the budgeting process, and oversees fund allocation.


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:


Bachelor's Degree - In Nursing; experience in a clinical setting.
Licenses - Nurse - RN Registered
Work Exp 3+ years


WORK SCHEDULE:


Standard Hrs: 37.5; Band: 06 ($ 39,960.00 - $ 73,935.00)
