Job Description:

TCSPP is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join the Chicago campus. This role will serve as the HR Lead for the Chicago campus and will be responsible for various duties, including:


  • Oversee the day-to-day human resources operations as the on-site HR representative at the Chicago campus
  • Enhance the effectiveness of an organization and the well-being of its members through planned interventions and training.
  • Drive compliance of human resources policies and procedures; ensure compliance with all federal and state employment and labor law and the accurate processing of employment and HR related forms (i.e. I-9, W-4, timesheets, etc.)
  • Communicate employment policies, procedures, management guidelines and accreditation requirements as necessary
  • Participate in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations problems, anticipate problems whenever possible, and develop, recommend, and initiate appropriate steps for resolution
  • Facilitate training sessions to staff and managers
  • Safeguard confidential employment data and health records and electronic data
  • Administer the school's benefits, promote awareness and education; coordinate open enrollment
  • Manage the performance evaluation program; meeting with managers to determine goals for team/individual performers and coaching managers on delivering constructive feedback
  • Facilitate the recruitment process; screening candidates, setting up on-site interviews, and working with hiring managers on candidate selection
  • Personnel resource keeping and support
  • Assist VP of Human Resources with process, policy, and procedure development and documentation
  • Provide assistance and advisement to senior campus leadership





  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • At least five years of human resources experience at the manager level
  • SPHR preferred
  • Higher education experience and knowledge of training and development are preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and team orientation
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to relate and communicate with all levels of management
  • Ability to work independently with high integrity and collaborative spirit
  • Excellent problem solving skills, analytical, organizational and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular, MS Word and Excel
