Duties: A researcher with knowledge in tumor immunology is sought for a lab investigating Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) with the goal of optimizing the use of immune therapy with molecular therapy to achieve better oncologic outcomes. The research specialist B is expected to participate in and perform experiments, data analysis and data presentation with minimal supervision The Research Specialist B will be involved in tissue acquisition and processing of human and mouse samples. Other duties include maintaining cell lines, primary cell culturing, performing flow staining, working with mouse models (i.v, i.p, s.c injections, tissue harvesting), keeping inventory and ordering supplies as needed. In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities will be involved in more complex experiments including ELISA, DNA, and RNA isolation.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Three to five years of experience preferred.
