Advertised Job Summary
Will provide administrative support for the Student Success and Wellness Center of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC. Will assist the director of the center and other personnel in performing various administrative duties. Serves as the contact for the center by answering phone calls and greeting walk-ins. Schedules appointments for students to meet with faculty coaches and graduate assistants. Manage student tutor schedules. Maintain paper and electronic files and resource collections. Compile data and reports. Perform office duties to include ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment. Performs other related duties as needed.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma and 4 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years office experience.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to work fluently within Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Access/SQL skills preferred. Ability to work with students and faculty. Ability to preserve confidentiality and work with limited supervision.
