The Department of Radiation Medicine is seeking a part-time, PRN faculty member to assist in achieving the goals of the Department and the mission of the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine. The faculty member will perform service functions at the Morehead Cancer Treatment Center, and Experience with Image-Guided and Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy, treatment planning, and brachytherapy.

This position will have primary responsibility in patient care services. In addition, this position will collaborate as a co-investor with other faculty members in the Department of Radiation Medicine in ongoing projects of an investigative nature.

Required Related Experience

Completed residency in Radiation Medicine.

Demonstrated potential for excellence as a teacher and clinician with evidence of high professional status and potential for local/state recognition.



Required License/ Registration/Certification

Certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiation Oncology.

Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Demonstrate superior work ethic, and availability on short notice are needed for this position.

Experience and competence in programming using modern workstations

Experience with quality assurance and treatment planning preferred.
