The Counseling and Testing Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Counselor to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Provides short term individual, couples and group counseling to university students. * Provides initial assessments and short term counseling services to students regarding problems relating to stress, developmental issues, interpersonal concerns, and other mental health issues. * Participates in professional development and continuing education activities and consults with university personnel. * Rotating on call duties and crisis intervention as assigned. The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical or Educational Psychology and two years of related experience. Must be licensed as a LPC/LSW by the State of Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within twelve months of employment.
