COMMISSIONING ENGINEER - DATA CENTER
The commissioning engineer is responsible for the electrical, mechanical, and control coordination and commissioning of mission critical data centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing commissioning guidelines (during the design/engineering process), commissioning test scripts (during the construction process), providing on-site observation of the trades/vendors during the commissioning activities, and provide a close out report to the project.
The candidate's MEP data center background of five (5) plus years of experience will reflect a proven track record of commissioning:
• Emergency Generators
• Uninterruptible Power Supplies
• Power Distribution Units
• Building Switchgear
• Fire Alarm/Detection Systems
• Cooling Towers/Chillers
• Glycol Based Systems
• Air Cooled Systems
• BMS Plant/Control Systems
Familiarity with developing/editing electronic documentation is critical. Travel, from the Edison, New Jersey base, is anticipated to be 20 - 30% of the year.
