Job Summary The position is responsible for conducting experimental duties in plant pathology, molecular biology, and metabolomics, and coordinating the daily operations of the laboratory, including but not limited to supervising laboratory safety compliance, maintaining instruments/equipment, and ordering supplies. Additional duties include helping graduate students in performing field research tasks, collecting, processing, and analyzing fungi and plant tissue samples, as well as supervising and training laboratory assistants. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and no experience or equivalent combination required. Area-specific certification may be required and training will be provided as appropriate (i.e. UGA HazMat training).
