Postdoctoral Research Associate
Computational/Experimental Condensed Matter The condensed matter spectroscopy group at Princeton University invites applications for multiple Postdoctoral Research or more senior positions to work on computational materials science in relation to angle-resolved-photoemission (ARPES) and Scanning Tunneling (STS/STM) studies on topological materials with focus on Weyl and magnetic materials. The successful candidate will carry out computational and theoretical prediction and modelling of materials and experiments carried out both at Princeton University and several national laboratories and will be expected to play some roles in carrying out spectroscopy and microscopy measurements (STM/STS) in combination with thin-film growth on a variety of systems. Prior experience with first-principle methods (FP/DFT) and/or other forms of electronic and magnetic structure theory and calculations is required. The successful candidate will have a strong research and publication record and must have a Ph.D. Appointments are typically for one year with the possibility of extensions up to three years upon mutual agreement.
