For more information about the university, go to: http://untdallas.edu/The Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Student Access and Success - Enrollment Management reports to the Vice President for Student Access and Success at the University of North Texas at Dallas. This position has planning, budgeting, and operational line responsibility for enrollment management and services delivered by Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships, new Student Orientation and the Registrar. The AVP for Student Access and Success - Enrollment Management works cooperatively and extensively with the VP of Student Access and Success, including other areas across the university. This position is responsible for a comprehensive enrollment management plan and assistance with all university reporting required of enrollment functions and outcomes.Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Provides direct supervision, motivation, training and support, which includes the hiring, firing, training, assessment, and career advancement of the directors of the following offices: Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid & Scholarships, New Student Orientation and Registrar.* Responsible for developing a coordinated strategic plan to recruit, retain and graduate a diverse student body aligned with the university's vision and mission, state goals associated with Closing the Gaps, 60x30TX plan and Accountability System targets.* Supervises the development and maintenance of the budget for Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid & Scholarships, New Student Orientation and the Registrar.* Represents the university on enrollment management-related issues, as directed, and works with VP and university officials to assure effectiveness of programs and initiatives.* Serves on various university, local, state, and national committees.* Aids in the development and enforcement of policies that promote student satisfaction and outcomes by holding departments and individuals accountable for high service.* Coordinates with student affairs, academic departments and VP and AVP to create partnerships that result in improved student access and success.* Coordinates with the technology staff to develop and maintain a student information system that encompasses the necessary infrastructure and data to support comprehensive enrollment management data analysis needs and student self-services.* Coordinates with the Office of Institutional Research in the evaluation, analysis, and reporting of data related to enrollment management programs and initiatives.* Coordinates with Marketing Communications staff to facilitate market analysis, planning, and implementation of target initiatives and campaigns that enhance branding and attract target markets to the university.* Promotes efforts that support diversity and existing university programs designed to create a welcoming environment for everyone.* Provides leadership/oversight for the offices that comprise Enrollment Management to enhance institutional effectiveness, including the use of assessment results and linking results to planning.* Ensures that monitoring systems are in place to track compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, and that all staff have the training that they need to comply with relevant laws and regulations.* Adheres to and fosters high standards of ethical conduct, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and appropriate financial oversight controls.* Observes safety, security, and confidentiality precautions appropriate to work performed.* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices.
