The Admissions Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Student Services Specialist II to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Overseeing the processing of all new undergraduate files to the University.* Verifying authenticity of academic credentials for domestic and international students, including accreditation status of schools and validity of test results.* Inputting and updating application data to EIS as appropriate.* Accurately maintaining student records and data.* Initiating appropriate verbal/written communication with students/staff.* Complying with University directives and standards.* Posting high school program for the Texas Grant program, posting transfer credit hours, and coordinating with the degree audit system.* Generating reports, letters and labels on demand.* Fostering a customer service attitude within the ESSC framework and participating in related ESSC functions.* Assisting coworkers as required.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree and two years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
