Manage day-to-day administrative functions of the High School Academy program(s) for the School of Professional Studies (SPS). Meet departmental needs including developing office policies and procedures. Recruit, orient and evaluate adjunct faculty; oversee adjunct faculty appointment and payment. Resolve faculty issues or concerns related to special program(s). Specifically, address academic related questions around NYUSPS policies and procedures, course scheduling, course preparation, etc. Analyze faculty and course data, produce detailed faculty and course reports, and provide recommendations for course and faculty needs across the special program(s) portfolio. Conduct market research in an effort to identify industry trends and make recommendations based on industry trend reports. Collect, analyze, and make recommendations based on student feedback data in order to determine student satisfaction. Advise students on issues such as curriculum requirements, course selection, registration, and program engagement. Plan and implement special student programs including prospective student outreach events, student orientations, and program special events . Attend School and University sponsored marketing events, information sessions and/or seminars to promote programs to prospective students. Develop and supervise staff, office support and student employees; Make recommendations for hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, and any other change of status.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Advanced degree, MA or MBA

Required Experience:
Three years relevant experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience planning and implementing administrative activities.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in a higher education environment preferred. Prior experience in a youth non-profit organization or youth counseling highly desirable.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Must be able to work well in a changing environment and practice creative problem solving. Ability to market programs, solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels.
