Posting Summary:
The Saturday and Summer Enrichment Program at the Curry School of Education is seeking candidates for the position of Enrichment Classroom Assistant for its programs in Charlottesville, VA. Incumbents attend training, provide assistance and support to the Lead Teacher in the classroom during five Saturday morning enrichment classes which serve gifted and talented students in grades Kindergarten through 5th. The program lasts for five consecutive Saturdays from January 20, 2018 through February 17, 2018 with February 24 as a snow date.

Qualifications: Some experience supporting a teacher in a classroom setting or working with children in some capacity is required. 1 to 2 years experience working with children and/or teens in a classroom setting is highly preferred, as is a high school diploma. Incumbents must be able to communicate in English and maintain a professional demeanor. The ability to relate to young and older children from diverse backgrounds is required.
