Position Summary Major Position Responsibilities
  • Design, prototype, develop, implement, and maintain FRIB physics applications
  • Develop and/or improve high performance accelerator simulation code
  • Develop and/or improve physics applications environment
  • Support and participate in the FRIB accelerator commissioning
  • Collaborate with community to keep FRIB physics applicationenvironment up to date

 

Minimum Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Physics or Engineering.
  • Record of accomplishment in field of expertise

  • Excellent communication skill to present approaches, plans and findings both verbally and through written reports to peers, management and external stakeholders
