Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager. The Strategic Partnership Manager is a key member of the Workforce Partnership team and critical to the success of Southern New Hampshire University. This is a remote opportunity with 30% or more travel required.

The Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for the Strategic Account Management and Business Development of targeted corporate partnerships within an assigned territory, accountable for revenue growth. In addition, this person is responsible for contributing to Southern NH Universities corporate partnership strategy and building markets for all products and services at the University. The Strategic Partnership Manager will be a key, front line member of the sales organization, identifying and initiating the selling efforts to new verticals/target companies and expanding product/service adoption at targeted current partners.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Generate and expand deep relationships at current SNHU targeted partners
  • Develop new partnerships at targeted accounts within assigned territory
  • Create and execute on strategic and tactical plans to develop and grow SNHU business in assigned market
  • Follow up and qualify new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
  • Build and manage pipeline of opportunities with predictable forecasting of stage, timing and outcomes
  • Collaborate across Workforce Partnerships and the greater University to accomplish the work required to facilitate effective partnerships
  • Strategically lead all sales activities and supporting team members to successfully navigate complex engagements with positive results
  • Daily management of all sales and relationship activity in SalesForce CRM with appropriate history and account information
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of consultative sales experience with complex solution engagement
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experience
  • Strong track record of producing measurable results for Enterprise corporations, ideally delivering Higher Ed solutions addressing workforce development needs
  • Capability and track record of selling into the C-Suite and Executive levels within Enterprise corporations
  • Able to consistently meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Strong team skills and ability to collaborate in fast-moving entrepreneurial enterprise
  • Excellent communications skills including writing, speaking, and oral presenting
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Proficiency with managing all aspects of CRM related accountabilities
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Prior work with SalesForce
  • Experience in building new and existing partnership's in a start-up environment
Work Hours:


Typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with flexibility to meet business demands as needed.

30% or more travel is required. This is a remote opportunity with a focus on business development in the western, central, and south eastern regions, including Colorado, California, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, Texas, Florida, North Carolina. The specific assigned region will be determined based on residence.
