Job Summary/Basic Function: Under close supervision, this position will assist in various Registrar area functions, including registrar clerk functions; processing of daily received forms such as change of grades, change of majors, transcripts, verifications, adds/drops, etc. Assist in the areas of graduation coordination and scheduling as needed.

Work Hours: Typically works Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. May work beyond normal office hours and weekends.

Registrar
Assist Office of Registrar in daily processing of transcripts, enrollment verifications, change of majors, add/drop forms and withdrawal forms.

Maintain files and student records ensuring accuracy and integrity of records on file including, but not limited to, sending requested files to Admissions Office and advisors as needed.

Attend university functions such as orientations, presentations, etc. on behalf of Registrar's Office as needed.

Graduation Coordinator
Assist Graduation Coordinator in processing graduation applications as well as help with the Commencement Ceremony processes as directed by the Graduation Coordinator.

Scheduling
Serve as back-up to Coordinator of Scheduling to maintain accurate changes as received to the class schedule and to ensure accuracy of information in EMS and Banner system.

Qualifications

Education

Necessary Qualifications: Associate's degree in applicable field.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree

Experience

Necessary Qualifications: Three years of experience in higher education.

Preferred Qualifications: Higher education experience in graduation coordinating, registrar or scheduling.

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
