Job Description

We are seeking a Field Supervisor to become an integral part of our team and provide supervision as directed either by reporting to or acting as Field Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

Timely completion of all required field documentation, i.e. field reports, time sheets, safety talks and reports, incident reports, accident and incident investigations, digital photos, and additional paperwork as required.

Listing and ordering materials.

Coordinating all aspects of subcontractor's activities (i.e. work-in-place, sequencing, layout, procedures, etc.).

Perform responsibilities of other field staff positions as required in order to expedite the work and schedule.

Buying and renting construction equipment.

Update drawings and drawing log, (i.e. posting SKA's, bulletins, ASIs, etc.).

Monitoring subcontract compliance and extra work orders.

Checking and coordinating deliveries.

Implement Erland's Safety program.

Implementing Erland's quality control program.

Maintain positive client, A/E, and subcontractor relationships.

Promote business development by projecting a positive image of Erland during interactions with employees, clients, subcontractors and vendors.

Implementing of on-site sign-in logs, (i.e. subcontractor sign-in, visitor's affidavit log, competent person).

Requirements:

Capability and knowledge to perform responsibilities described above. Minimum 5 years construction experience, preferably in supervisory capacity.

Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, field engineering, scheduling, safety regulations, and quality control.

Must be able to read and comprehend construction documents.

Ability to lead and evaluate performance of subcontractor and field personnel on a day to day basis.

For safety purposes, must be able to take directions and read signs in English.

Current CPR/First Aid training are required within 1 year.

10 Hour OSHA course within 6 months.

Must be physically able to safely maneuver on a jobsite, (climbing ladders, negotiating rough terrain), be able to safely lift, carry or move heavy objects weighing 50 plus pounds (drawings and plans, tools, equipment).
