Primary Function of Organization Unit: Campus Enterprises is NC State University's lead division of retail and hospitality organizations: Wolfpack One Card, NC State Dining, Wolfpack Outfitters (formerly NC State Bookstores), University Trademark Licensing, The Lonnie Poole Golf Course, Talley Student Center, Witherspoon Student Center. Each unit shares a common goal: deliver quality and efficient services with dedicated financial support for student activity and scholarships.

Essential Job Duties: Position serves as a web manager for Campus Enterprise Division, sourcing and providing web application design and development for various web applications. Maintains web applications for the division. Provides project management, web development supervision and oversight, design consultation, and support for the web pages utilizing PHP code. Coordinates with the Campus Enterprises Division IT and various sub departments to maintain their access to websites so users can make changes to web content as needed. Web (25%) -WordPress Developer research and implement software upgrades to web environments to support functionality of Campus Enterprises web presence created web support companies, campus OIT, campus PCI & security groups. Web Management (65%) - Service and maintain current web applications within Campus Enterprises web environment, create surveys, registration programs, and web applications. In addition, develops and supports potential Peoplesoft interfaces, Credit Card transaction interfaces, and web-based payment interfaces for departmental use. Serves as liaison to web development service providers for project management and oversight, establishing project goals, scope of work, negotiating cost of work, and project schedules to achieve successful implementation. Planning and Organizing (10%) - Follows OIT standards for database creation and management within web spaces and environments; adheres to Security and Compliance guidelines and procedures for connections to Oracle/Peoplesoft environments; ensures PCI compliance of all online registrations applications that involve payment options; follows procedures for implementation of content management system upgrades in test environment prior to production roll outs.

Minimum Education/Experience:

Department Required Skills: Experience in the following areas is required: -PHP development including object-oriented PHP -MySQL database administration -Drupal CMS (content management system) development, including theme modification and custom code integration -HTML/CSS/JavaScript/XML/RSS

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Experience in the following areas is preferred: - Customer support using ServiceNow - PHP interactions with Oracle through OCI8 functions - Application development with the MVC (model-view-controller) pattern - cPanel server management interface - object oriented coding development and maintenance experience - JavaScript and other web framework development and maintenance experience - 3+ years experience preferred in web development
