Duties: The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Department Chair, including scheduling meetings and maintaining the chair's appointment calendar. Assist the Department Coordinators with all aspects of managing the MLA program throughout the academic cycle, including events, communications, and promotional materials. Provide administrative support to the Department with research center development, faculty grants, special projects and student-led activities. Respond to inquiries from prospect applicants and arrange visits. Manage the front desk and respond to all in-person visitors, phone and email inquiries. Provide assistance to the Department Coordinators and Faculty with clerical and financial tasks as needed.

Qualifications: Associates degree or two years of college and 3 to 5 years of administrative experience strongly preferred. HS and 3 to 5 years of administrative experience required.
Ability to multitask and work in a team, required.
Detail oriented, and exceptional organizational, communication and writing skills, required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, InDesign) required.
Graphic arts, arts education and program management background, preferred.
