PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job Summary The Project Coordinator will represent the Office of Faculty Affairs by serving as the Team Lead for the Manage Faculty Events (MFE) module in the University of Georgia's OneSource Project. The OneSource project is a complete transformation of the core financial and human resource processes employed by UGA. At the conclusion of this multi-year project, the campus community will utilize a modern data system that enables improved productivity and efficiency. The MFE module will store a variety of faculty-specific data including time in rank, promotion dates, and special titles. The MFE Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of PeopleSoft's MFE module at UGA. The MFE Lead will also work with the OneSource Self-Service Lead on the design, development and implementation of Faculty Data Self-Service. The MFE Lead will ensure that the operational needs of the Provost's Office of Faculty Affairs, as well as the needs of other campus administrators and end-users, are met in regards to faculty data. The MFE Lead will be a member of the OneSource Human Capital Management (HCM) Project Team and will report to the OneSource HCM Project Director, in coordination with the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs. This position will coordinate the MFE Core Team and interact on a consistent basis with the Office of Faculty Affairs, Human Resources, Office of Institutional Research, campus management and end-users. As different components of the OneSource project are deployed in July 2018 and January 2019, the duties of the MFE Team Lead are expected to evolve in response to current project needs. After OneSource project completion, the position will reside in Office of Faculty Affairs with duties to be determined.
