Manages all aspects of the project life cycle, including planning, evaluation, and execution. Responsible for developing and managing IT project plans for one or more cross-functional projects. Schedules meetings, tracks progress, coordinates testing and approvals, creates communication messages, and reports for stake holders and advisory council members of the Digital Campus initiative, myFSU mobile, myFSU portal, and ITS Enterprise Applications projects.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of an initiative, including preparation, tracking, and reporting for the Digital Campus initiative, myFSU mobile, myFSU portal, and ITS Enterprise Applications projects. Develops new goals and provides each initiative with end of project assessment including recommendations for improvements. Analyzes data from internal and external partners for reporting purposes.
Performs analysis and assist with gathering the needs of users for projects within the Digital Campus initiative, myFSU mobile, myFSU portal, and ITS Enterprise Applications projects. Creates written specification documentation that is based on analysis and client meetings. Works with developers and vendors to support new and existing applications.
Learns and evaluates new technologies, both individually and in collaboration with peers to enhance user experience. Identifies current and future needs to ensure that applications support the departmental missions.
Perform duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, or incident management as assigned. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and four years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years. (Note: related post-high school education and/or experience can substitute at the comparable rate.)
Position requires compliance with University policy OP-F-7 on "Safeguarding of Confidential Financial and Personal Information."
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Knowledge of principles and practices of project planning, development, and evaluation.
Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles and practices to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives.
Ability to meet project deadlines.
Proven expertise in managing multiple projects using aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience with gathering requirements from users and developing specifications.
Experience working in Agile planning method.
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.


Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred
Working knowledge of emergent web and mobile technologies, frameworks, and design patterns.

Anticipated Salary Range

Negotiable based upon experience.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.


Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
