Assistant / Associate Professor in Accounting
General Description of Position: The Department of Accounting at Kansas State University invites applications for an assistant or associate professor position to commence in Fall 2018. A Ph.D. in accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution or similarly accredited international institution is required. ABD near completion will be considered. While candidates with any methodological approach are encouraged to apply, those with a strong interest in behavioral and/or public interest research are preferred. The person filling the position must be prepared to teach classes at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. - A doctoral degree in Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution
- Demonstrated research ability and the potential for publishing in quality refereed academic and professional journals
- A commitment to teaching excellence and demonstrated teaching ability
- Commitment to collegiality and the ability to work with faculty and students from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to interact effectively with alumni, faculty, staff and students
- A record of published accounting research
- Professional accounting certification
- An interest in public interest research.
