Responsibilities

Assist young children, 6 weeks to 4 years of age with toileting, washing hands, getting to sleep, and waking up. Assist and supervise children on the playground and in activity centers. Talk with and engage children when they are in activity centers or involved in activities on the playground.
Assist teachers with housekeeping tasks such as wiping down tables, cleaning the floors, etc. Provide feedback to the Lead Teacher about any individual child's needs. Encourage the independence of children. Assist other staff members as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma/equivalent and experience working with children.

Preferred

An AA degree is preferred.
Degree in or currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Child Development, or Family and Child Sciences.
Completion of State Mandated 45 Clock Hour Training and First Aid/CPR.

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
