Associate Director of Communications and Stewardship


The University of Chattanooga Foundation, Inc., is seeking an Associate Director of Communications and Marketing for the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC) campus. The Associate Director will design and implement division communications and stewardship programs to improve, enhance, and expand opportunities with internal and external constituencies.

The Associate Director impacts the development and implementation of communications and stewardship programming designed to establish and enhance communication efforts and increase stewardship programs across the university at all levels, providing best practices, stewarding donors and helping to articulate the impact their gifts are having on our students, faculty/staff and programs. This position has a role in assisting the development office in identifying effective fundraising strategies aimed at increasing alumni, friend, corporate, and foundation giving through a comprehensive development and alumni program. 

A bachelor’s degree is required with 1-3 years’ experience in management, sales, marketing/communications (print and digital), volunteer management, fundraising, budget preparation and analysis, special event/alumni program development and implementation.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, perform in a fast-paced environment and have measurable success in a collaborative work place. Must be able to meet deadlines, make decisions, and interact effectively with diverse groups. High energy, creative, organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
