Child Care Aide
Aid in the preparation and implementation of a program appropriate for a designated group of young children.
Twelve college credit hours in early childhood education or a Child Development Associate (CDA). Experience with children in a group setting. Experience with word processing and general computer use. Good interpersonal skills.
Work is typically performed in both indoor and outdoor early childhood learning environments. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, run, stand, bend, jump, move freely, and lift up to 40 pounds to support the indoor and outdoor activity of children; keep children within sight and sound at all times; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone.
Experience with children in a group setting. Experience with word processing and general computer use. Good interpersonal skills.
Preferred: Experience with children within the age range of 12 months to 6 years. Experience in a child care center or preschool.
