The College of Science Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator I to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Provide office support to the COS Associate Dean of Research, Graduate Studies, and associated office staff.* Maintaining the appointment calendar for the Associate Dean, assist with and organize files and reports, gather and distribute information, process advances and reimbursements, process travel documents for COS administration, staff and visitors. * Provide a welcoming presence for the COS Associate Dean office by answering calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate COS administrator, faculty or staff at UNT. * Use a p-card for purchasing of supplies and other items needed by the COS Associate Dean office.* Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops or other special events. * Maintain up-to-date COS faculty and staff email lists to facilitate communications.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree and three years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
